Spring is a personal favorite of mine for photo session!  The winter is gone and the flowers are coming.  It is so pretty. The only down side to spring flowers is that they do not last long. Before we know it, summer heat will come.  

A Texas all time favorite is of course the Bluebonnets. They pop up at the end of March or in April and will stay looking pretty for a couple of weeks.  These blue flowers really do pop in photos.

As a Texan, dare I say that bluebonnets are not actually my favorite?? There are many different kinds of flowers that seem to take the back seat to the bluebonnets but are so pretty. I love all of the color options that these flowers bring.

 

I have a few popular and well known locations for flowers.  I also have a couple of top secret locations that I only tell a client once they book :)  Again, these flowers do not last long and it is difficult to find locations that are not crazy busy with photographers.
