Hello Beautiful! 

My name is Stephanie, and I am the owner of Stephanie Renee Photography.  As recommended by business experts, I am starting a blog.  In this blog I will be sharing life experiences as well as photography experiences with you. So to start things off I will tell you a little about myself. 

Some things that make me me:

I am a comfy jeans and t-shirt kinda girl. I love people and believe a friendly smile can go a long way. Sleep is my favorite hobby and I am not a morning person. I am a Christian, a pastor’s wife and my relationship with Jesus and my church family are very important to me. I have two beautiful daughters that bring me so much joy along with challenge me. I am a sugar addict and could probably live off of desserts. Although, I’ve discovered that the older I get, the more important it is to push myself to make healthier decisions (being an adult is hard). Summer is my favorite season because I love being in the water and having my babies home all day. I love to have dance parties with my girls and dance when no one is watching.  I am a happy, but deeply emotional person. My love language is quality time, and quality time with my family is when I am happiest. I love children and have always wanted a career involving young kids. 

So what led me to become a photographer? Photography has been a lifelong hobby that I decided to grow into something more. This passion of mine really started during my first photography class in high school and grew further as I continued taking photography classes once I entered college.  Both of these classes were film and resulted with hours in the dark room. I loved this time and fought off the digital age for a while. I honestly felt like digital camera were cheating.   Now, of course, I love my DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex)  and hours spent on Photoshop. 

Once I graduated from TCU, I still loved taking pictures, but really had no direction at the time—that is—until I had children of my own. Since then, I’ve gained a greater passion for photography, and slowly, I felt I had a new sense of direction in this beautiful art. Before I started my own business in 2015, I was an assistant to Braly Studios. I assisted her with newborn posing, getting babies to smile, and family sessions.  During this time I decided that I too wanted to start my own newborn photography business. 

These last years of being a professional Fort Worth photographer have been a great adventure. I am happy to use this blog as a way to give you a peak into this adventure.  Check back soon for more :)
